Stretch Yourself Teen Yoga - New class for summer 2022 This Teen course will suit all levels of ability and especially those that enjoy stretching. Learn various breathing techniques and how to use yoga props such as blocks, belts and bolsters to stretch safely. We will explore poses to promote strength, endurance and flexibility, breathing and relaxation practices that can help in challenging times. All equipment will be supplied for each class or feel free to bring your own yoga mat

______________________________________ Thursday Morning Class 9.45am to 11am Venue: Abhyasa Yoga Studio 433 Lisburn Road, Belfast Suitable for beginners or those returning to yoga Current course finishes 23rd June. Spaces are limited to 12 as we are maintaining social distancing measures for your comfort Collette is also a Menopause trained yoga teacher and will also offer guidance to ladies in her classes. Each class will incorporate breathing practices, mindfulness, alignment in our yoga poses and of course a guided relaxation or meditation to finish. New Summer dates added for Thursday morning adult classes: Dates: 7th, 21st & 28th July and 4th, 11th & 18th August.
All courses will only run providing there is sufficient interest. All adult classes will include centring; limbering; warming and strengthening and cooling down poses. Each class will consist of yoga stretching (asana) and will include modifications to promote a safe practice ; pranayama (breathing practices) and guided meditations or relaxations / yoga nidra. In Collette’s yoga classes you willbe encouraged to adopt a mindfulness-basedyoga practice.
